I do delete and edit other people's comments. Most comments are treated as an ongoing FAQ available to everyone. So if I think your comment would be more helpful to other people if worded different, I will make changes to it. I also delete comments for no reason. Don't take it personally. Related to that, "Thank you" type comments are all read and greatly appreciated, but generally will be deleted published.
